HornAudio and Audiosync work together to let you experience high-end audio in its purest form.
Audiosync combines the modular HornAudio sound system with their expertise to create an audio solution tailored to your space and wishes. With the modules of HornAudio, you get a custom audio setup. Your system is professionally measured, installed and tuned.
Modular
At the heart of the HornAudio system is the PiXi loudspeaker, a small wonder that reproduces sound vividly and true to the original source. PiXies are combined with HornAudio subwoofers Sim, SaLa and Bim for tight low-end with impact.
The HornAudio system is modular, scalable in size, power and reach, and the design can be customized with finishes in wood, fabric and custom print design.
Freedom
Together, HornAudio and Audiosync give you the freedom to shape your listening experience. From a subtle stereo setup to a complete home cinema with surround sound.

At HornAudio, we believe in the power of collaboration to create something truly special. We’ve teamed up with Ynse Heegstra, social workplaces, and my neighbour’s greenhouse to bring our Sim subwoofer to life. In this story, we’ll walk you through the process and show you the different stages of production.
CNC by Ynse Heegstra
The first step in making the Sim subwoofer is crafting the wooden parts. We work with Ynse Heegstra, who uses his CNC machine to precisely mill the wood. It’s a crucial step to ensure that the final product has the perfect shape and s
The social workplace
After milling, the parts are sent to the social workplace, where a dedicated team carefully assembles them. They glue, press, and clamp everything into a solid structure, then fill and sand it for a smooth, professional finish.
The social workplaces we collaborate with are non-profit organisations offering training and employment opportunities to people who face barriers to the workforce.
This collaboration not only helps us create a high-quality product but also has a positive impact on the community. By providing employment, we contribute to a more inclusive society. We’re proud to support such a valuable cause and look forward to continuing this partnership.
My neighbour’s greenhouse
For the next stage, I set up a spray booth in my neighbour’s greenhouse. Here, I treat the speakers with Warnex paint. This paint gives the speaker a sleek, professional look and protects the wood from moisture and damage.
The kitchen table
The final steps take place at my kitchen table, where I add sheep wool and screw the 4-inch bass speaker module with connections into the cabinet.
Craftsmanship, collaboration, and immersive sound
Building the Sim subwoofer is a process where the efforts and expertise of many come together. We’re proud of the result: a subwoofer that delivers a rich, intimate listening experience! This is just the first of our three subwoofer series. The SaLa and Bim will be following soon.
Sim SaLa Bim
Our Sim, SaLa, and Bim subwoofers form the powerful foundation that provides deep, immersive sound for any setup. When paired with our PiXi speakers, we can build everything from very small sets to massive PA setups for the largest events and stages.
